LRC Open House is a success!

The LRC conducted a successful Open House event on 01.03.11 welcoming faculty members from our Psychology and English Departments among others, as well as VGCC President Dr. Parker.  Our visitors browsed new reference books, audio books, and DVDs.  In keeping with this academic year's focus on globalization and its influence on the VGCC educational community, our new additions include volumes covering Asian American history and culture, Latino history and culture, feminism and women's rights worldwide, and the impact of globalization on the United States.  The faculty, staff, and administration members also took the opportunity to explore and learn about the LRC's brand new website http://lrc.vgcc.edu/home.
