Library Assistants Earn VGCC Scholarships

Congratulations to your present and former library assistants who received scholarships during the annual VGCC Scholarship Awards Ceremony held on February 23.  Recipients included Anne Pettit (Robert J. Turner Annual Scholarship), Rachel Pottern (James Madison "Jimmy" Joyner Memorial Scholarship), Jordan Scheno (Kerr Lake Board of Realtors Scholarship), and Randal Chandler (Vesta Fortson Manning Memorial Scholarship).  Library assistants provide invaluable support -- working with the LRC staff throughout the academic year processing new materials, shelving books, and assisting patrons.
