LRC Supports MLK Celebration & Black History Month
The LRC and our Library Services staff showed their support for VGCC's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and the upcoming Black History Month by creating a display of books and DVDs related to these events. Recent additions to our collection include The Black History of the White House by Clarence Lusane (2011), Keep On Pushing: Black Power Music From Blues to Hip-Hop by Denise Sullivan (2011), and the DVD Freedom Riders (2011).

Just in time for our students looking to move on to a four-year college or university, we have the brand new edition of The College Blue Book available as an eBook within the GVRL (Gale Virtual Reference Library).
